Letter from W M Mackenzie, Perth to Bailie Fisher, chairman of the inch committee concerning an estimate of £2 for a boundary wall to be built on the top of the embankment, 4 September 1854.
Letter from James Lorimer, Aberdalgie to the Lord Provost of Perth relating to the rights of the Earl of Kinnoull’s tenants, “which has ever hitherto existed”, who are allowed to use the cart road to the River Tay along the March. He suggests that “a proper gateway for admission of a cart should be put up, with a key given to the tenant”, 9 September 1854.
Letter from an unknown author, city chambers, Perth to James Lorimer, Aberdalgie relating to his suggestions of the 9 September, and explaining new facts which have since come to light on the issue, 12 October 1854.
