Includes letters from Nobel Laureates. Documents in section UR-SF 34/7 appear to have been listed at least twice before present list was finalised. Items (now in sub-sections UR-SF 34/7/1-UR-SF 34/7/32) were numbered individually, as (1)-(137), and arranged in envelopes, which were bound into folders. The numbered sub-sections therefore represent the separate envelopes in which the letters were grouped. The original list was excessively detailed, and has been edited for convenience. Documents in subsections UR-SF 34/7/33 - UR-SF 34/7/36 appear to have been added to the list later, and individual items are listed separately within each sub-section]. Additional material has been added due to later accessions
