Scope and Content
A rare book, in that it was written to expose DC Thomson under the guise of a fun book. It provides "A fascinating insight into a deeply secretive yet immensely powerful British publishing institution" It is oddly sized in that it is very long and skinny. According to University of Dundee library staff David Robertson, it is rare because DC Thomson bought as many prints of this as they could and destroyed them. The only other one he had seen was in the Carnoustie Library.
