Armour's letter arranging for Boyd's collection after a visit to Mackenzie was waiting for Boyd after he arrived back. Armour had omitted to put in his letter what day Boyd was to travel "the whole must have been written after a visit to some Beefsteak house." Dr Swan has fallen off his horse. George is improving daily. Asks if Mackenzie can forward Rainy's letters as he is "anxious to hear of Paris".
