Scope and Content
Images of the Harris Tweed industry, in the form of photographic transparencies (also known as diapositives). These would have been taken using colour reversal film (the number code and/or words on the edge can be used to work out what specific brand of film was used). The transparencies are of varying sizes, though many are 5.5 x 5.5cm.
The main subjects covered are fashion and landscape. No dates are present, but from the content and style of the images, it is presumed the majority were captured in the 1980s and 1990s. Most are of unknown copyright.
