Scope and Content
Fold-out leaflet advertising Harris Tweed at Lord & Taylor. Appears to be a mock-up, since text labels are stuck on, and mostly drawn with pen. Front shows tweed in various shades of brown, with a text box containing the Lord & Taylor logo and the words 'Harris Tweed' with the Orb between 'Harris' and 'Tweed'. Inside (when fully unfolded) consists of a black and white image of a jacket, polo-neck jumper, glove, bag strap, and skirt(?), arranged as if on a person, with a text box in the bottom right corner. Inside flap and reverse are a continuation of the brown tweeds shown on the front of the leaflet, with the US version of the Harris Tweed label stuck on.
Date must be post-1945 as the Lord & Taylor 'handwriting' logo was introduced during the tenure of Dorothy Shaver as the company's head (1945-1959).
