Copies of correspondence to and from Neil Macarthur relating to early discussions on amending the definition of Harris Tweed to include cloth made with mill-spun yarn. Colonel Macarthur was not part of the Committee of Management of the HTA until 1932, but was involved in the industry as a legal advisor and a director of Kenneth Mackenzie Ltd.. Many letters are to or from Francis Wigglesworth, as well as other members of the HTA Committee of Management.
