Custodial History
Papers collected by Dow and his wife who gathered them together. Photographs and material relating to Agnes Dow was transferred to Thorntons Solicitors on her death on the occasion of the creation of the memorial trust. The transfer to Thorntons was probably by Mr and Mrs Bird who were friends of the Dows. Mrs Bird was the daughter of Mrs Wilson (appears in photographs) who was a close colleague of Dow.
