Scope and Content
The papers consist of Minutes, title deeds, subscription and other financial records and general correspondence. Most series are somewhat patchy and had been thoroughly disordered.

The material was transferred to the Archives along with other records as part of accession 2006/03 by Amanda Robb, Local Studies Librarian, on 20th Sept 2006.

It is not clear when the papers came into possession of Renfrew County Council; presumably they simply physically transferred when the County took over the running of the Library in 1948
