• Scope and Content

  The Annual Reports include an Income and Expenditure account for that year. Expenditure for the scheme being the cost of Seeds, Tools, Fertilisers, and Potatoes, as well as the expenses of management such as salaries and administration fees. The Income and Expenditure is covered on one A5 page. The Balance sheets cover liabilities, reserves, and assets. From 1932 until 1948 the Annual Reports are in the form of short booklets, formatted and containing photographs. From 1949 onwards they are one piece of typed paper. From 1949 the folders contain the draft/master copies of the accounts and balance sheets as well as the one page of information issued to members. The series includes duplicate copies, but is not inclusive, 1974-1989 are wanting.
