John Hinshelwood was born in 1907 and worked as an architect. He attended the Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow, Scotland, as an evening student during his time as an apprentice architect from 1926-1930. The architectural sketches in this collection were part of the training he received during his time at the GSA.
