Receipt from the Clerk to Dundee Fleshers' Incorporation for four pounds fifteen shillings and six pence received from George H Smith for the entrance fees payable on his admission as a Free Member to the Dundee Fleshers' Incorporation.
Administrative / Biographical History
Several generations of the Smith family were fleshers, and free burgesses and Guild Brothers of Dundee. The most recent member of the family referred to in the documents is George Henderson Smith, who is in one of the photographs of men meeting the Duke of York.
