Administrative / Biographical History
The General Secretary was appointed by the EUSA Council as the highest personal authority within the organisation, although the post reported to and was accountable to the EUSA Council. The General Secretary liaised with the head of the British Executive (the UK Secretary) on EUSA matters in the United Kingdom, and with the heads of the various South American Field Councils on matters relating to missionaries in the field.
