Scope and Content
The reports are monthly and give the numbers in the hospital; the numbers admitted since the previous month; the nature of the disease (enteric fever [typhoid], scarlet fever, chicken pox, typhus, nursing mothers, measles, erysipelas, whooping cough, diphtheria, pneumonia). They also give the cases are divided by burgh of origin, Partick, Maryhill or Hillhead, but also Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, Clydebank, Govan, Milngavie, Rutherglen and Renfrew. The Medical Officers were John Clerk, James Gardner from June 1900 and Reginald Dunlop from June 1903.
