• Scope and Content

  These papers were in the original catalogue with reference H-SHA29. Some of them were in original bundles or envelopes, which has been indicated in the entry, but many of the papers were loose. Some of the bundles have similar types of papers (H-SHA6/46-47, 49-51, 53, 55-57, 61 and 63) and as they were in their original bindings this may reflect how the Town Clerk originally kept them.

  Another box of papers was found after this series had been numbered and were added out of chronological order from H-SHA6/99 onwards.
