The letter head blocks are for the Electricity Works, Helen Street (2); Central Fire Station, Albert Street; Chief Constable's Office (James Whitecross, Chief Constable); Weights and Measures Department, Town Hall (Robert MacKinnon, Chief Inspector); Cleansing Department, Helen Street; Medical Officer of Health (James Barras); The Elder Library (R Robertson, Librarian); Burgh Treasurer's Office (John Rankin, Treasurer); and three sample plates showing different styles. The stamps are for Govan Clerk's Office; Chief Constable's Office; Sanitary Department; Joint Hospital Board payment; Burgh Police Office (2); and coat of arms.
