• Scope and Content

  The minute books in this series were concerned with two different hospitals. The first two volumes are concerned with the construction and administration of the Govan Kinning Park Combination Hospital on Broomloan Road, Ibrox. The other four volumes contain the minutes of the Hospital Committee appointed under the minute of agreement between the authorities of Govan, Kinning Park and Govan Combination Parochial Board. They went on to build the Joint Fever Hospital at Shieldhall. The minutes deal with the day to day running of the hospital, staffing, complaints, payment of accounts etc.
