Scope and Content
The campaign was organised by the Corporation of the City of Glasgow and the Western Regional Hospital Board in co-operation with the Department of Health for Scotland and the Scottish Information Office. Includes colour and black and white photographs of the information pavilion in George Square; examples of posters; the Secretary of State for Scotland [John Maclay] being x-rayed; opening ceremony of the campaign; mobile x-ray units; an illuminated tram car; volunteer workers sorting x-ray cards; queues at the units; and the Publicity Committee.
