Scope and Content
Correspondence concerning transfer of property for clinics, some at the instigation of the Sub-Committee for the Re-organisation of the Public Health Department. Includes: correspondence on land at Sandy Road, Partick for a clinic with lay-out plans, 1933-1936; transfer of Renfrew Parish Council offices in Scotstoun (Blawarthill), 1930-1931; construction of a welfare centre amongst new housing in Anniesland at Netherton , 1937-1947; proposed Child Welfare Clinic at Royal Hospital for Sick Children, 1946-1947; and the need for a clinic in Drumchapel, 1955-1966. Includes memoranda on number of patients chargeable [to Corporation of Glasgow Welfare Department] in institutions elsewhere with lists of patients' names, 1943.
