Ledgers giving date; name of deceased; age, cause and date of death; name, residence and relationship of applicant; circumstances which render application necessary; whether granted or refused; and remarks used to indicate cemetery. The circumstances column explains the individual's financial circumstances and why a pauper burial was required. Volumes numbered 7-10. Numbers 1-6 wanting. Not indexed.
The volumes included a large amount of loose inserts. They have been given the volume reference number and the date at the top of the page in which they were found and removed to separate folders for safer storage.
