Scope and Content
Photographs definitely identified as the Society's because of code numbers on the reverse show: Leeds panorama showing domestic smoke; corroded iron railings; damage to stone carving; soot on flowers; and factory area with chimneys. A further five photographs of: street scene in London 1pm, December 1952 showing think extent of fog; soot on snow; woman holding laboratory flasks with particles for analysis; and an old truck showing emissions. Presence of velcro and pin holes indicates they were used for display.
