Instrument of sasine upon a precept direct from the chancery for infefting Robert Lord Boyd as heir of his deceased father Robert Lord Boyd in barony of Medross and in the donation of the right of patronage of the church of Kilmarnock, with the rectorage and vicarage thereof, and in the donation of the right of patronage of the subdeanery of Glasgow, with the churches of Cadder and Monkland, with rectorage and vicarage thereof.

Procuratory of the resignation of Patrick Walkingshaw, sub-dean of Glasgow and parson of the church of Cadder and Monkland, with the consent of James Archbishop of Glasgow and of the dean and chapter of the metropolitan church of Glasgow, of his subdeanery with the churches of Cadder and Monkland annexed thereto and with the teinds, dues, rents, emoluments and duties belonging thereto into the hands of the King in favour of Robert Lord Boyd.

Charter under the great seal by King James VI to Robert Lord Boyd of the barony of Medross, granting the churches belonging of the said barony lying in shire of Ayr and Lenrick , and granting the right of patronage of subdeanery of Glasgow and the churches of Cadder and Monkland thereto annexed with their teinds, to be held blench for the yearly payment of 14 pounds, 6 shillings and 2 pence Scots.
