    Charter of atonement containing two great chambers, three little chambers and five shops with a yard lying at the back of the tenement between the Pedagogy and the churchyard of the Black Friars, disponed by Sir David Kirkland chaplain of the chantry founded at the altar of St Mungo in the Laigh Kirk of Glasgow, with the consent of John Blackadder of Tulliallan, patron of the said chantry, and of James Archbishop of Glasgow, to John Martine, citizen of Glasgow, and his wife Janet Mirk, to be held in feu of the chantry for the yearly payment of 21 merks Scots, that is to say the former rent for the said tenement to the said friars, and also 20 shillings yearly in addition as feu duty for the rental of the chantry.
